IPP Taylor has been in hospital since Tuesday. They remain in a critical and life threatening condition.
The consultant believes the most likely cause is a brain infection caused by a spreading of an ear infection. Taylor has had severe ear infection for weeks. Appointments to see the doctor were severely delayed, and when Taylor finally did see the doctor, they were given terrible advice.
The doctor also said that Taylor has yeast in the blood (candidiasis), causes by their hernia that has gone untreated for 3 years.
The shockingly inadequate care that Taylor has received is symptomatic of the prison system that harms and kills people through delays, bureaucracy and sheer neglect.
Please write to Taylor urgently! We want them to have loads of cards to wake up to.
